To our new Better Fitness Family member,

Welcome to Bent On Better! My name is Matt and I'm the owner and head coach here at Bent On Better.  I want to congratulate you on taking the first step toward becoming a happier, healthier, and stronger Chester County resident. You’ve taken the biggest step by contacting our fun, results-based group training facility here in West Chester, PA, and making the decision to change your life.  You have put yourself you in a very small percentage of the population who is taking action, and for that, I thank you. Selecting Bent On Better to guide you on your path of results and success doesn’t go unnoticed, and it isn’t taken lightly.

I am honored to be a part of your journey.  Thank you for trusting me (and Bent On Better) in this process.

Take 202 south from Malvern

Take Boot Road exit

Turn LEFT on Boot Road

Make a RIGHT on Greenhill Road

Bent On Better is on the LEFT

Take Boot Road exit

Bear to the LEFT onto Boot Road

(pass the GIANT on your right, continue on the road until you get to the Goshen Fire Station on your far right, then...)

If you’re coming for only your Jump Start meeting or Fit Moms Challenge consultation, all you will need is your ID (a driver’s license will do!). No workout clothes are necessary if you’re just doing the meeting.  We’re just going to talk about your goals, your workout history (if there is any), and we will discuss joining the Jump Start Program or Fit Moms Challenge you’re interested in. We want to make sure our program is going to be a good fit for you.

 

If you’re coming in for your first orientation and/or your first session,  bring a water bottle (you can refill it here), an 'A+ attitude', and yourself! We’ll be doing some light exercises, so please wear workout clothes.

I’ll be waiting to greet you as you come in the door and up the steps.  You may even hear and see one of our results-based group training sessions starting or finishing (depending on the time you come in).

It’s very likely that we’ll introduce you to some of our members.  After all, we want to provide you with a full team of support to help you reach your goals!

Step Three: Let’s do the Orientation

(Separate from our quick Jump Start meeting or Fit Moms Challenge Consultation)

The goal of this session is to make sure Bent On Better is the right place for you. Here’s what will happen during this session:

Step 1: Get here 😁
Our orientation process will cover a lot, but we guide you through every step. As long as you show up, we take care of everything else. There is no guess work! Also, if you have any questions at any time, you can ask us and we’ll be happy to answer. The only bad questions are the ones you don’t ask, so ask us anything you are thinking!

Step 2: Warm up / Assessment
After we set your goals and come up with the right strategies, we’ll do a short warm up and assessment workout. The goal of this short workout is for us to discover what exercises are safe for you to do and what exercises you should avoid doing. This initial workout will help us create an individual game plan just for you. We’ll introduce you to some of the exercises you’ll be doing during your program so you feel comfortable and confident starting out.

Step 3: Once we complete the first two steps, we’ll come up with your game plan for your  program including how many days per week you should workout and which sessions you should do. We’ll also recommend a membership for you, should you decide to continue with us. Before you leave, we’ll make sure we answer all your question and leave no stone unturned. We want you leaving this session confident and armed with the right strategies to jumpstart your fitness.
