Our mission at Bent on Better is to make strength beautiful, fitness pain-free, and healthy weight management simple & sustainable for busy adults.

Since the 1950s, strength training and weightlifting has been geared toward men, dominated by men, and focused only on one outcome: getting as big and bulky as possible. 

But here at Bent On Better, we’ve been training mostly women (since 2015) on how to use weights properly, the advantages of weightlifting, the benefits of strength training, and more. To this day, we still haven’t had a woman turn into the Hulk or Arnold.

We’ve empowered women in the gym to not only feel confident lifting weights, but look amazing in the process.

When you focus on strength the way we do, you find the wins in smaller clothing sizes, enhanced metabolism, improved heart health, increased blood circulation, better balance & stability, fewer aches and pains for regular life, and you look & feel great!

Strength is beautiful because it empowers you to do more, live more, and become more. It doesn’t just add years to your life – it adds life to your years. It’s about longevity and sustainable movement, so you can stay engaged in the lives of the people who matter most to you.

At Bent On Better, we believe a good workout should leave you feeling good when you’re done, not worse than when you started. 

Fitness isn’t meant to be a punishment and your workouts don’t need to be pushed through pain to see results. Yes, they need to be challenging, but pain isn’t in our protocol here.

We pride ourselves on helping people who suffer from chronic pains, old lingering injuries, and stiff, tight, and inflexible muscles.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build some lean muscle, strengthen your knees or lower back, or just feel better in your clothes – our goal is to help busy adults find solace in knowing that regardless of the goal you can see results with simple and sustainable steps.
